This is what we expected all of Arizona to look like. The cacti are amazing. There are many varieties. Some very bizarre looking!
Desert view. It's amazing how many cactuses there were in the early 1900's. We saw photos at the visitor center.
A dead saguaro. It has wood spines and a hollow center. No rings like a tree so there is no way to know how old the cactus is.
Goofy girls and a strange looking plant.
