This place is amazing! They claim it's the best preserved meteor impact crater on earth and we believe it! It's about 4000 feet in diameter and 55 stories deep. Not only is the crater very cool, but the museum is great and they have a real meteorite (we learned that it is a meteor until it hits the earth- then it's a meteorite).
These were on the rim tour. It's the only way you can walk a part of the rim trail.
