Hannagan Meadow, AZ

It's hard to believe that this is camping in Arizona. Surrounded by ponderosa and lodge pole pines, we had to dig out jackets and long pants. It was even cool enough for a campfire. (Thanks Jim!) We were exploring highway 191 and came upon this little campground. It was a perfect stop for the night! It feels more like Idaho or even Colorado than Arizona!

We even spotted some elk on the way.

We saw deer as well but they didn't pose as well as the elk.

The girls found a sniggle tree. (Or is it a snaggle? You'll have to ask Ali.)
