This was a fantastic way to start the 2016 adventure! Bryce is an amazing place. Samantha is as taken by it as I am. There really is no place like it on earth and it's so bizarre that's it's hard to believe it even exists here. The colors are intense- even more so in the evening light. We did some great exploring and while we saw a lot, there's always something left for the next time. We had a great campsite in the park and love the high mountain air. At 8000 feet the mornings are cool even though it heats up during the day. No bugs at the altitude either! We are very surprised that there are no bears here. It makes camp cooking and cleaning much easier!
